SEQUENTIAL SPACE

 

 

Sequential Space is Kang's Prototype installation that reflects her recent interests. She measured the dimension of the projected light using then line tapes and sophisticatedly projected animations onto them. To Kang, the artificial light from the projector has a somewhat tangible materiality as it divides and sculpts the space. She attempted to capture the ephemerality of projected light in this installation. Similarly, her small-scale physical models also explore the volume of projection, its dimension and its physicality.
