Similar to other Scene series, Scene 09 also explores the mixture of the surreal and the real. In this 3D animation, something unfamiliar happens in a familiar, empty room. Scene 09 draws an imaginative situation. In an empty studio, the surreal creature emerges and tries to escape from the room through the window. However it fails to escape and finally vanishes.
This piece was exhibited in Kang's third solo exhibition, Mixed at Gallery KONG, Seoul, Korea.
