Isolated Voyeurism reflects my impression of Seoul, in where I have grown up for about 20 years with the rapid growth of the city. This city is almost bursting with the excessive number of people, cars, and buildings. The most common residential place in Seoul is a high-rise apartment building. People living in a dense apartment usually do not even know who lives in the next door, and seldom communicate each other as well. Even though it is built for the convenience of the residence, sometimes, the human touch is hard to find. This weird and reversed environment evokes a certain contradictory feeling of alienation. This separated and disconnected building induces voyeurism to some degree.
