GREENPEACE campaign feat. Inalchi Band and Ambiguous Dance Company

On March 2021, I have joined this special music video project with Inalchi band, Ambiguous Dance Company and Greenpeace, an international environmental organisation. March 11, 2021 marks the 10th anniversary of the Fukushima nuclear accident. To increase people's consciousness, Greenpeace planned a campaign against the release of contaminated water amid growing international criticism over Japan's plan to push ahead with the release of high-level radioactive contaminated water to the sea. 

The song of the music video by Inalchi band was based on a "Sugungga", which is traditional Korean music genre. For this music video, the band have changed the lyrics, to highlight the danger of releasing the radioactive contaminated water into the sea. The choreography of Ambigious Dance Company even enhances the narrative. 

In the music video, I used projection mapping as a medium to generate an immersive environment that resonates with the lyrics. I visualised the nature's anger through dynamic scenes that entirely envelopes the performers. Continuing scenes of lightening sky, overflowing waves of ocean and abstract landscape formulated a compelling stage for the performance and music. 

I decided to join this project because I thought conveying the message in this creative manner might enhance people's awareness of the current situation.
