In order to meet each other, audience should understand the system of the structure above all. After that, they need to learn how to interact with this structure, then they realize that there is another part of the room and there could possibly be another person.
To see each other, they need to spend some of their time and efforts. 
This process can be fun or persistent, however the moment when they eventually find the other across the wall will make it all worthwhile.
