Wall Circle

 

 

In this project, Yiyun attempts to create spatially disorienting experiences. She employed a real wall in the gallery space as a background for this work. In here, a purely white wall seems to be de-materialized into a fluid moving surface that morphs the illusionary depth. Through these experiments, she wanted to produce an interesting circumstance in which the concrete boundary between the real and the virtual becomes ambiguous.
