"Deep Surface" is the title of Yiyun Kang's fulldome projection work presented at the Max Mara Coats! Exhibition 2017 in Seoul. This immersive projection piece, commissioned by Italian Fashion House Max Mara, was on display in Seoul's Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), which was designed by Zaha Hadid. Milan-based Migliore+Servetto Architects, who were in charge of the space and exhibition design, built a 20 metre in diameter dome structure and seven different rooms, called Wunderkammer, inside Zaha Hadid's iconic architectural achievement. Daehyung Lee, the curator of the Korean Pavilion at the 2017 Venice Biennale and Art Director of the Hyundai Motor Group, was a curator for the exhibition.
