"Unveiled 01" is a video installation for the Open Studio 2011, Changdong Art Studio,
National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea.
In this installation, the idea of the "Between" series has been furthered. So far, what I was interested in was to make tricks through projection mapping in order to make viewers get confused.
However, in this 'Unveiled 01', the hidden part of the "Between" series has been intentionally exposed. Viewers can see the materiality of video projection through physical lines that are suspended from the projector to the space. In order to fully appreciate this piece, audience should involve more actively using their body.
Lines and physical involvement make it easy to notice that this is not real performance but video projection.
